I just received my copy of Munroe Effect's new 7 inch. Munroe Effect is a UK band which hired me to do some cover art for them. I finished art for their second 7 inch a couple months back and will be working on at least one more in the near future.Here's a little description from Munroe Effect's website: although the name was chosen by pure co-incidence, the scientific meaning of munroe effect turns out to be quite relevant - this portsmouth-based quartet deal in a live performance that tears through your defences with a relentless agression delivered by an onslaught of jagged guitars, and a rhythm section based on a battering ram. however, once positioned in the centre of your attention, emotionally-loaded passages of epic noise and abrupt jazz interludes will spread through your body and secure them in your conciousness on a permanent basis.
